Having fun with Lego

Lego is a line of toys featuring colorful plastic bricks, gears, minifigures (also called minifigs or mini-figs), and other pieces which can be assembled to create models of almost anything imaginable. Cars, planes, trains, buildings, castles, sculptures, ships, spaceships, and even working robots are just a few of the many things that can be made with Lego bricks. High production quality and careful attention to detail ensures that Lego pieces can fit together in myriad ways, which is one of the main reasons for the toy's success.

Now let's have a little fun with LEGO ...

How To Get A Life

Tuesday, June 27, 2006

In this days a lot of people are addicted to computers, internet, games, and specialy for them I have a funny guide "How to get a life".

Here’s How:
Let go of the mouse.Yes let go now.

Turn off the computer.

Play a game of solitaire with a real deck of cards.

Eat something other than taco chips.

Fart without recording it and putting it up your Web page.

Get some sleep in bed rather than on your keyboard.

Next time you wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, don’t tell everyone on your ICQ list about it.

Open a window without turning your computer back on (yes, it is possible).

Very gradually expose your eyes to increasingly bright light so as to avoid damage or permanent sun blindness.

When you feel prepared for a massive dose of non-CRT radiation, put on welding goggles and go outside.

If you see someone, say “Hi” to them instead of trying to make the modem connect sound.

Visit a friend that you haven’t spoken to in years because they don’t have an email address.

Have “.com” officially removed from behind your name.

Go on a date with someone you didn’t meet in a chat room.

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift Cars

The cars in the latest The Fast and The Furious movie. This story all about the emotional, redneck racer Sean Boswell. After getting into tons of trouble all over the USA, the kid is shipped to Tokyo where his divorced father resides.

Sean Boswell, who has always been an outsider. A loner at school, his only connection to the indifferent world around him is through illegal street racing -- which has made him particularly unpopular with the local authorities. To avoid jail time, Sean is sent out of the country to live with his uncle in the military, in a cramped apartment in a low-rent section of Tokyo.

In the land that gave birth to the majority of modified racers on the road, the simple street race has been replaced by the ultimate pedal-to-the-metal, gravity-defying automotive challenge ... drift racing, a deadly combination of brutal speed on heart stopping courses of hairpin turns and switchbacks. For his first unsuccessful foray in drift racing, Shean unknowingly takes on D.K., the "Drift King," with ties to the Yakuza, the Japanese crime machine. The only way he can pay off the debt of his loss is to venture into the deadly realm of the Tokyo underworld, where the stakes are life and death.

The most Powerful Subwoofer

Friday, June 23, 2006

A subwoofer is a type of loudspeaker dedicated to the reproduction of bass frequencies, typically from about 20 Hz to about 200 Hz. It is difficult for small loudspeakers to reproduce frequencies below 40 Hz, especially above 100 dB, and so it is often advantageous to use a loudspeaker intended specifically for this task.

Here we have the most powerful subwoofer you ever seen, take a look.

World Cup - Ant Version

Thursday, June 22, 2006

According to Mainichi Daily News, ants can sense if a fellow ant is a friend or enemy using pheromones. So some people at the Kashihara City Insectarium put this to use, organising a Ant World Cup. The organisers fed the Japanese team Kagoshima pork and the Brazilian team spare ribs to change the ants “pheromones”. In this preparation match, the teams played with a ball(1cm) on a field (20×30cm), and ended in a tie.

Motorcycle helmets

A motorcycle helmet is a type of protective headgear used by motorcycle riders. The primary goal of a motorcycle helmet is to protect the rider's head during impact, although many helmets provide additional conveniences, such as face shields, ear protection, intercom etc.

Motorcycle helmets are generally believed to greatly reduce injuries and fatalities in motorcycle accidents, thus many countries have laws requiring acceptable helmets to be worn by motorcycle riders. These laws vary considerably, often exempting mopeds and other small-displacement bikes. As with seat belt legislation the actual effects of imposing helmet wearing are a matter of dispute with evidence available indicating a risk compensation effect.
